City Council adopted Ordinance 2026-02, Short-Term Rental License Ordinance, at its June 1, 2026 meeting.
The ordinance becomes effective on July 11, 2026. If you own or operate a short-term rental in the City of Harrison, please be prepared to apply for a Short-Term Rental License after that date.
The City is currently preparing the required application forms, inspection checklist, and licensing materials. These materials are not available yet, but will be ready before the ordinance takes effect.
Existing short-term rental operators will be required to apply for a license within ninety (90) days after the ordinance takes effect. After that transition period, operating a short-term rental without a valid City license will be a violation of the ordinance.
