Most projects require an application and a site plan or sketch. Use the links below to download the current forms.

Zoning Compliance Form (PDF)
Use this for most common projects, including sheds, fences, decks, garages, accessory buildings, and many exterior improvements.

Parcel Modification Application (PDF)
Use this combined form for land divisions, parcel combinations, and lot line adjustments.

Site Plan Application (PDF)
Use this for most new construction, expansions, and many business-related projects or changes of use.

Special Land Use Application (PDF)
Use this when the zoning ordinance requires special approval for a specific use or activity.

Variance Request Application (PDF)
Use this if you cannot meet a zoning requirement (such as setbacks) or you are requesting an appeal.

Demolition Review Application (PDF)
Use this if you are proposing demolition and City review is required before proceeding.

Applications may be submitted by email, in person, or through the City’s iWorQ portal. 

Important: Applications are not considered complete until the required fee is paid and all required materials are received. Online payment is not currently available.

A complete application typically includes:
A. A signed application form
B. A site plan or sketch with required details (as applicable)
C. Any required supporting documents listed on the form
D. The correct fee payment

Site plan basics (common minimum information):
A. Property address and parcel number
B. Lot lines and approximate dimensions
C. Existing and proposed structures with distances to property lines (setbacks)
D. Driveways and parking areas (if applicable)
E. Easements or right-of-way features if known
